In the heart of London, The Puppet Company celebrates its 25th anniversary with an installation at Hamleys on Regent Street. Now until July 21, the store’s window display will feature a magical puppet-filled summer scene.
The 25 Years of Fun! display showcases a funfair setting featuring puppets from The Puppet Company. At the center, visitors will find an enchanting moving Ferris wheel with puppets in the seats. The company’s colorful characters also appear in a hot-air balloon floating in the background. In the foreground, families will see a mix of sock and hand puppets, each featuring animals, monsters, and more.
This installation also acts as a reminder of the longstanding partnership between Hamleys and The Puppet Company. At the front of the display, viewers will see a replica of Hamleys Puppet Theatre, which runs puppet shows using the company’s puppets. The display’s replica features special moving puppets, bringing more magic and fun to the shop’s storefront.

“Being a regular supplier to the famous shop and helping with its puppet shows has been a wonderful experience. But being in the window is a dream come true,” says Sue Lockey, Owner and Co-Founder, The Puppet Company. “It’s something my husband and our late co-founder Peter Lockey would have absolutely loved.”
