Tamagotchi Hits the Road for Its 30th Anniversary Celebration Tour

Tamagotchi is turning 30 this year, and it’s celebrating with a victory lap.

In honor of the beloved pets’ birthday, Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America is bringing back the Tamagotchi USA Road Trip for a second year. This time around, the tour is upping its game with additional stops, photo-ops, and pop-up shops for fans of all ages. Admission is free, no tickets required, so pet parents have one less thing to take care of!

At each stop, kids and kids-at-heart will step into a whimsical world filled with interactive games, activities, and surprises inspired by digital pets across the decades. You can snap pics with your favorite characters, score exclusive merch, and even grab the latest Tamagotchi toys to take home. 

The tour will kick off Aug. 15 at the Mall of America in Minneapolis and run throughout the summer, making stops in eight major U.S. cities, including Indianapolis, Philadelphia, and Atlanta, before wrapping up Oct. 4 at the Wolfchase Galleria in Memphis, Tennessee. Whether you’re a long-time pet lover or new to the keychain craze, this is a tour all fans GTG see, ASAP.
