Panini, Chaotic Entertainment to Relaunch Cult-Classic TCG

Chaotic is making a comeback. The company behind the game, Chaotic Entertainment, is partnering with Panini America to officially relaunch the cult-classic TCG.

“We promised the Chaotic community we would come back, and we are delivering something truly special,” said Bryan C. Gannon, CEO at Chaotic Entertainment. “This is beyond a reprint. This is a full reimagining of the Chaotic game play and experience, leveraging and expanding the stunning artwork and streamlining the strategic gameplay.”

Hitting shelves this fall, the updated TCG will serve as a reintroduction to the action-packed world of Perim. The checklist includes reprints of beloved trading cards, from creatures and locations to Mugic attacks and Battlegear, all featuring newly enhanced artwork and finishes. The first starter sets and booster packs will be available at hobby shops in October, followed by a major retail release in January 2027.

To take the launch to the next level, early next year, players across the U.S. and Canada can visit their local hobby shops for a full calendar of exciting in-store events, tournaments, learn-to-play demos, exclusive promo cards, themed giveaways, and more. Trained Chaotic Ambassadors will lead each experience, alongside appearances from TCG legend Brian David-Marshall of Mothership Games

Additionally, for the first time ever, Chaotic is launching its own custom web app, so fans can track their collection anytime, anywhere — without pesky downloads or updates getting in the way. On the app, players will be able to scan their cards, organize their decks, access strategy guides, locate nearby events, and even stream all 79 remastered episodes of the Chaotic animated series.

The first Chaotic starter decks and booster packs will start popping up in hobby shops and GameStop this October, with a major retail release slated for January 2027. For all the latest updates about the launch, visit chaoticgame.com
