‘Subway Surfers’ and ‘Angry Birds 2’ Unite for Anniversary Crossover Events
Sybo and Rovio Entertainment are teaming up to bring Subway Surfers and Angry Birds 2 together through a pair of limited-time in-game events. The collaboration coincides with Subway Surfers’ 14th anniversary, introducing Angry Birds-themed content as part of the game’s upcoming Super Runners update, set in a stylized version of Copenhagen.
The crossover extends to Angry Birds 2, where Subway Surfers-inspired gameplay elements, cosmetics, and events will be added, including a new spell, themed challenges, and collectible items. Across both titles, players can expect new characters, abilities, and environments that blend the mechanics and visual styles of each franchise.

Borussia Dortmund Debuts New Kits in Roblox’s ‘FIFA Super Soccer’
Borussia Dortmund brought its new Puma uniforms to FIFA Super Soccer on Roblox through a limited-time collaboration with Gamefam. The activation marked the first time the club’s new kits are playable in any video game beyond the promotion, arriving before the uniforms made their on-pitch debut against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Running through May 15, the event adds Borussia Dortmund as a playable team and features themed challenges, appearances by mascot Emma the Bee, and exclusive in-game rewards, including a lightning-strike goal celebration inspired by the club’s black-and-yellow branding.
Players can continue using the official kits in-game through the end of the year. The collaboration follows a recent activation between Gamefam and U.S. Soccer and reflects the growing trend of sports organizations using immersive gaming platforms to connect with younger fans.
Nintendo Download Highlights ‘Indiana Jones and the Great Circle,’ Virtual Boy Classics
This week’s Nintendo Download lineup is led by the arrival of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle for the Nintendo Switch 2. The action-adventure game places players between the events of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade as Indy travels from Marshall College to the temples of Sukhothai to uncover the mystery of the Great Circle. Nintendo also launched Outbound on both Switch and Switch 2, offering a cozy exploration experience centered on customizing a camper van, gathering resources, and exploring a colorful open world solo or with up to four players online. Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers also gained access to a slate of classic Virtual Boy titles, including V-TETRIS, Jack Bros., Space Invaders Virtual Collection, Virtual Bowling, and Vertical Force. Additional highlights this week include new music tracks from the upcoming Star Fox game added to Nintendo Music, a new season of Pokémon Champions, and upcoming eShop releases such as R-Type Dimensions III, Farming Simulator 26: Nintendo Switch Edition, and Smalland: Survive the Wilds.
Bob Ross Heads to Fortnite with Creator-Driven Game Studio
Bob Ross Inc. launches Bob Ross Games, a new video game studio created in partnership with Chartis and built in Unreal Editor for Fortnite. The initiative expands the late artist’s growing gaming presence following the success of Bob Ross Tycoon, which has logged more than 120 million minutes played since launching in Fortnite last year. The new studio will introduce a slate of creator-driven experiences throughout the year, designed to immerse players in Bob Ross’ landscapes, artistic philosophy, and painting process.
Joy of Painting launches this month within Fortnite. Gamers explore interactive environments inspired by Ross’ iconic artwork while creating their own paintings in a multiplayer setting. Using virtual brushes and guided prompts, players can experiment with colors, landscapes, and creative tools rooted in Ross’ signature “happy little accidents” approach. Bob Ross Games serves as a hub for three original titles planned for release throughout the year as the brand continues to expand into immersive gaming experiences.
Toca Boca Brings Olivia Rodrigo, Twice, and Sienna Spiro to ‘Toca Boca World’
Toca Boca is expanding its music strategy with new in-game collaborations featuring Olivia Rodrigo, Sienna Spiro, and Twice in Toca Boca World. The initiative gives players access to four songs from each artist for one month, integrating music directly into gameplay as users decorate spaces, explore the virtual world, and customize their experiences.

The program launches with music from Olivia Rodrigo’s album Sour in celebration of the record’s fifth anniversary, followed by Sienna Spiro in June and Twice in July.
“Our goal is to create an ever-evolving place where kids can truly be themselves,” explains Marc De Vellis, Spin Master’s President, Digital Games. “We know music plays a huge role in self-expression, especially during the tween years, and by bringing globally recognized artists into Toca Boca World, we’re creating moments that resonate emotionally while strengthening our leadership in tween culture in a way that is authentic, playful, and uniquely ours.”
