Meccano is partnering with Ducati Motor Holding to introduce a licensed addition to its Pro range, bringing the Ducati Monster to life for teenage and adult builders.
The launch marks Meccano’s second licensed product since its 2025 acquisition by Addo Play, part of The Entertainer parent company The Teal Group, as the brand continues to expand its focus on advanced, mechanically driven construction experiences.
“Ducati motorcycles are built to inspire emotion and performance,” explains Alessandro Cicognani, licensing and merchandising director of Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A. “Partnering with Meccano allows us to bring the thrill of the Ducati Monster to fans in a hands-on way that celebrates both craftsmanship and creativity.”
Designed for experienced builders, the Meccano Pro X Ducati Monster set includes 315 pieces, two tools, and detailed components, such as functional steering, coil-spring suspension, multi-piece rubber wheels, and a realistic exhaust system. The build also features signature Ducati design elements and includes a display stand for finished presentation.
“Meccano Pro gives expert adult builders’ projects that excite the imagination,” shares Lisa Hollidge, group chief commercial officer, The Teal Group. “The Ducati Monster embodies that perfectly through exposed mechanics, iconic design, and a timeless engineering story Meccano fans will love to build, display, and enjoy.”
The collaboration aligns two heritage brands, with Meccano’s long-standing engineering focus paired with Ducati’s design legacy as it approaches its 100th anniversary in 2026. According to the companies, the Ducati Monster’s exposed mechanics and distinctive styling translate naturally into Meccano’s open-ended construction system.
The set is scheduled for global release in August and September 2026, supported by a marketing campaign spanning television, digital platforms, and in-store activations.
