Hasbro has officially announced its new licensing partnership with Butts on Things, the cheeky art brand that adds butts to everyday objects.
In 2027, fans can expect to see a line of personality-packed Butts on Things collectibles, including blind bag packs and more, adding a touch of humor and unexpected fun to the ever-expanding collectible landscape. Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC) attendees will get the chance to see some of the new line later this week at Butts on Things’ Booth No. 4523. Other original and licensed collectibles exclusive to the event will also be at the booth.
“There’s no better stage to reveal a collaboration this fun than San Diego Comic-Con,” said Billy Lagor, President of Toys and Board Games at Hasbro. “Butts on Things has earned a devoted fanbase with its humor and creativity, and we’re excited to turn that spirit into collectibles that spark laughs and brighten everyday spaces.”
Butts on Things, created by artist Brian Cook in 2016, has amassed a cult following since its debut, with fans appreciating the brand’s playful irreverence.
“Seeing my Friday doodles and sketches transformed into collectibles by a company with Hasbro’s creativity, quality, and legacy is incredibly exciting,” says Brian Cook. “I can’t wait for our community, and a whole new generation of fans, to see these creations come to life as we celebrate our 10th anniversary.”
With Hasbro’s recent licensing acquisitions and expansions, including The Legend of Zelda, Formula 1, G.I. Joe, and more, this addition of Butts on Things to its lineup demonstrates the company’s commitment to further expansion into new, playful territories for a wide range of audiences.
