CHANEL will host the “COCO MADEMOISELLE CRUSH ABSOLU” experience event in Tokyo’s Harajuku from August 21 to 25. The venue is styled as a pink Parisian street-corner café, extending the new fragrance’s olfactory world into visual, taste and makeup experiences.
The event is divided into three parts: on entry, visitors first pick up the “Gazette” mini newspaper at the newsstand, whose pages include fragrance content, a Coco advice column and horoscope love stories for the twelve zodiac signs; the pink bar at the center of the venue offers the new fragrance CRUSH ABSOLU — opening with vetiver and vanilla, layered with the bright fruitiness of grapefruit and lychee, moving through rose and jasmine, and finishing with patchouli. It also includes testers of line fragrances such as L’EAU PRIVéE and INTENSE, plus fragrance-inspired makeup and body care products; finally, there is a Chanel-themed dessert and drink area.
