ABetter Design Company is expanding its business with the launch of a new distribution division focused on helping small and mid-sized toy companies scale through retail sales, logistics, and fulfillment support.
The Brighton, Massachusetts-based company says the new B2B service is designed to connect emerging brands and inventors with established retail relationships and infrastructure that can be difficult to build independently. The division will work with a curated portfolio of companies across multiple toy categories, including plush, novelty, imaginative play, and games.
Founded by David Beker, ABetter Design Company is known for active play products including Cornhole Shootout, Splash Jam Aqua Sword, and Splash Jam Bubble Tunnel.
“We’re being very intentional about who we work with. This isn’t about volume. It’s about building the right mix of brands that elevate each other at retail,” Beker explains. “We want our partners to feel like they are part of something meaningful. We are reaching out to those companies that we feel fit with us and are reviewing companies seeking to work with us to move beyond development and into scalable retail expansion.”
Services offered through the division include national and specialty retail sales representation, strategic assortment planning, warehousing guidance, inventory management support, and logistics assistance.
The company says it has already signed several distribution partners and is continuing to evaluate additional brands for the program. Beker noted that the goal is to assemble a complementary mix of products and brands that can support one another at retail rather than focusing on volume alone.
