The new year begins on a spooky note as the Halloween & Costume Association (HCA) unveils the winners for the 2025 Spooky Awards.
The Spooky Awards honor creators who capture the spirit of Halloween with outstanding artistry, craftsmanship, and marketable creativity. On Jan. 13 at the Halloween & Party Expo in Las Vegas, the second annual ceremony united industry icons and trendsetters who continuously shape the Halloween experience for millions each year. The Spooky Awards attracts some of the most imaginative minds throughout the summer, with all submissions judged on innovation, marketability, and trendsetting potential.

Ghoulish takes home four awards for Costume (Adult), Décor, Makeup, and Masks. Disguise received three wins, two awards for Costume (Licensed and Non-Character, respectively), and one for Most Innovative. Rubies also won two awards in the Costume category, specifically for the Child and Most Unique subcategories. Allaura Wigs takes the win for Accessories, and Jazwares’ Star Wars Adult Chewbacca costume is Spooky Awards’ Fan “Fang” Favorite winner.
