Fanatics Collectibles, the National Basketball Association (NBA), and the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) enter a multiyear partnership with Topps. As the returning exclusive trading card licensee, Topps will introduce new basketball cards and limited-edition patches.
The 2025-26 Topps Basketball collection will spotlight select players across all 30 NBA teams. The trading cards line will include popular athletes, such as LeBron James, Victor Wembanyama, Cooper Flagg, Dylan Harpe, and more. The NBA Collect by Topps collection will launch Nov. 5 on Topps Digital, available in the App Store and Google Play Store.
The partnership will also include Topps’ Rookie Debut Patch, which will affix to a player’s jersey during the first game of the regular season. The patch will then be removed, authenticated, and autographed by the applicable player. Topps will later insert the patch into a one-of-one Topps Rookie Debut Patch Autograph card to be included in a future Topps product.
Alongside the Rookie Debut Patch, Topps will launch a Gold NBA Logoman Patch. This patch will debut on the back of jerseys for the 2024-25 Kia NBA Most Valuable Player, Kia Rookie of the Year, and Kia Defensive Player of the Year. Topps will later insert these patches into trading cards, and the program will continue for future seasons.
The 2025-26 Topps Basketball collection launches on Oct. 23 at mass and specialty retailers, as well as topps.com.
