The LEGO Group Launches Replica Set of the FIFA World Cup Trophy

Soccer fans can have their own version of the sport’s most famous trophy, in LEGO brick form.

The LEGO Group is launching a 2842-piece, 1:1-scale LEGO Editions replica set of the iconic trophy, just in time for next year’s tournament. The building set features a hidden scene in the upper globe portion of the trophy. With a pull of a slip, fans can find a LEGO version of next year’s tournament logo, as well as a branded LEGO minifigure holding a smaller version of the trophy. Under the base of the trophy is a printed list of every team that has won the trophy since 1974, adding a historical and collectible component to the set.

Additional products and experiences will be released under this collaboration in the coming year. Fans can preorder their own set for $199.99, now available at lego.com, and expect to receive it when it launches next March.
