Sesame Street will join your community events this summer! Families can enjoy Sesame Street-themed activities at state fairs, local farms, and nearby baseball games during Sesame Workshop’s Road Trip Across America.
The road trip highlights the series’ main theme: Sesame Street is for everyone, no matter where you live, who you are, or how you feel. It will feature interactive booths, coloring stations, Muppet mazes, and more!
The road trip will begin on July 27 in Indianapolis, where Cookie Monster will serve as the Grand Marshal for NASCAR’s Brickyard 400. Bubba Wallace, a professional driver, will reunite with Cookie to celebrate the event.
Families attending state fairs in Tennessee, Oklahoma, Georgia, and more can experience a Sesame Street-themed interactive digital booth, coloring stations, giveaways, and photo opportunities. These activities will also be available at Utah’s Hogle Zoo, located in Salt Lake City.
If there’s a farm near you, it might get Muppet-fied! Sesame Workshop is teaming up with The MAiZE Inc. to create Muppet mazes at more than 30 farms nationwide.
The road trip will also stop at several Major and Minor League baseball club meetings (and games). On Sesame Street-themed days, kids can enjoy custom giveaways, in-stadium games, virtual character greetings, and seventh-inning stretch activities.
Families can find road trip locations at sesameworkshop.org.
