PUMA has teamed up with Japanese brand JOURNAL STANDARD relume once again, creating a special fabric edition based on the classic T7 track jacket with over half a century of history. The silhouette remains largely unchanged — the high collar, ribbed cuffs, boxy fit and two-way zipper are all kept intact, with the changes focused on material and color: the usual athletic performance fabrics are set aside for soft, substantial velvet, whose delicate sheen suits the deep-autumn mood. Navy, brown and matte bronze lend a sense of refinement to a piece originally tagged as “sportswear-only.” The velvet also amplifies the jacket’s inherent ease: the high collar naturally falls open into a voluminous, structured collar, the relaxed body keeps room to move without looking sloppy, and it works for both casual and sporty styling.
