Next week, Krispy Kreme is releasing your kids’ next favorite sweet treat. The franchise’s newest collection of doughnuts is inspired by Pokémon characters!
With such a wide variety, even picky eaters will find a treat they enjoy. Plus, each doughnut features themed coloring and a decorative piece of the Pokémon character. The Bulbasaur Doughnut is a glazed doughnut with vanilla icing and frosting, while the Poké Ball Doughnut is topped with chocolate and vanilla icing and red sprinkles.

The new line of goodies also includes The Squirtle Doughnut, which is glazed with cotton candy-flavored buttercream and dipped in nonpareils and sanding sugar. Meanwhile, the Jigglypuff Doughnut’s buttercream tastes like strawberries, and a yummy strawberry cookie is sprinkled on top.
Families can enjoy sweets inspired by Electric and Fire types as well. The Pikachu Doughnut features vanilla icing, a drizzle, and nonpareils on top, and a mouthwatering lemon-flavored filling. Lastly, the Charmander Doughnut is made with red and gold sugar, a marshmallow- and chocolate-flavored filling, and is topped with caramel icing. Purchase a Pokémon Dozen, which features the six themed doughnuts, if you can’t choose!
After the doughnuts are demolished, tiny Trainers will still have a piece of the collection — Krispy Kreme is offering five different Pokémon cups that hold 10 Original Glazed Gold Dots. Additionally, Krispy Kreme is giving free glazed doughnuts to fans who wear Pokémon merch Aug. 22.
