Wizards of the Coast is honoring women with Secret Lair x Global Fund for Women: Their Magic is Limitless. A new Magic: The Gathering card drop raises money for the fund. Global Fund for Women provides financial assistance and grants to activists across the world fighting for gender equality.
“Their Magic is Limitless celebrates the women of Magic, both on the cards and behind the drop,” says Lindsey Bartell, Senior Director of Secret Lair. “From the characters to the artists to the creative team, every part of it is rooted in connection, mentorship, and the many ways women uplift each other. We’re proud to support Global Fund for Women with a drop shaped by the same spirit it celebrates: women creating, leading, mentoring, and championing one another.”
The collection includes eight cards with Magic characters Lathril, Blade of the Elves, Path of Ancestry, Cultivate, Sol Ring, Finale of Devastation, Coat of Arms, and Dark Ritual. The creative team behind the cards made sure characters of different ages, occupations, races, body types, and more were represented.
The cards drop July 20 — Aug. 3. 50% of the profits are donated to Global Fund for Women via Wizards of the Coast’s charity, Our Change Foundation.
