Fred Rogers Productions is expanding its partnership with Simon & Schuster, with new books scheduled for next fall. Fred Rogers Productions made its first appearance at the American Library Association annual conference this week.
The production company has collaborated with Simon & Schuster for 12 years, publishing titles related to Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. The show follows 4-year-old Daniel Tiger and his life in the Neighborhood. The series and books are for preschoolers and their families.
Additionally, Fred Rogers Productions, in partnership with Little Dot Studios, launched its YouTube channel June 4. The channel includes episodes, clips, and compilations of moments from Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.
“Simon & Schuster has been an exceptional partner since our first Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood title was published in 2014,” says Katie Huber, senior director of licensing, Fred Rogers Productions. “We’re delighted to expand our collaboration with them for Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood and to work together to deliver even more ways for parents, teachers, and librarians to help children learn and grow from the enduring series created by Fred Rogers.”
