The White House is putting the final touches on its annual Easter Egg Roll with an expanded slate of activations — including a return appearance by The Toy Association.
First Lady Melania Trump previewed the 2026 event, set for tomorrow, April 6, on the South Lawn, outlining a mix of traditional activities and partner-driven experiences designed to engage families. Participating organizations include Coca-Cola, NASA, YouTube, Meta, Google, PAAS, and the American Egg Board, among others. The Toy Association will participate for the second consecutive year, hosting an “America’s 250th Birthday Party” activation featuring classic games and toy-filled goodie bags.
The activation aligns with the broader celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, reinforcing the role of toys and games in family traditions and shared experiences.
The event features core traditions such as the Egg Roll and Egg Hunt, alongside a broader lineup including STEM activities, music performances, and interactive stations from partners across public and private sectors. New and returning elements range from a sensory-friendly Egg Hunt to hands-on experiences, including an AI Creation Station powered by Meta and a Lunar Exploration activity. Live performances and storytime sessions will also take place throughout the day.
First Lady, Melania Trump, Second Lady Usha Vance, Secretary Linda McMahon, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, and Jennifer Hegseth are among the featured readers in the Reading Nook.
Families will receive the Official 2026 White House Easter Egg Set courtesy of the White House Historical Association.
As the event continues to evolve, its mix of education, entertainment, and play-driven programming reflects a wider trend: experiential engagement remains a key touchpoint for brands looking to connect with families beyond retail, and that engagement can go all the way to the White House.
