A beloved bingo game is heading to big-box stores — thanks to Asmodee.
First created in 1887, Lotería is one of the oldest and most iconic games in Mexican and Latin American history, connecting generations of players through fast-paced fun and friendly competition. The bilingual edition, designed by Dreamstar Farms, honors the cultural classic with digitally remastered artwork, while all-new riddles in English and Spanish welcome new families into the fold.
As the game’s exclusive distribution partner, Asmodee is bringing Loteria Bilingual Edition to major retailers across the U.S., including Amazon, Walmart, Target, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Meijer, and more.
The updated card game features everything that has made it a centuries-old staple, from its kooky characters to chips inspired by the traditional bean tokens. Each of the 54 cards features rhymes and riddles in both languages, making learning new words interactive and engaging. With the large-print, easy-to-read cards, players of all ages can discover, learn, and share in the folkloric fun together.
“Play is the answer,” said Geoffrey Gray, Co-founder of Dreamstar Farms. “When you bring people to the same table, you create something powerful: with connection, understanding, and shared joy. Now in both languages for the first time, Lotería becomes a bridge between generations and cultures.”
Lotería Bilingual Edition is now rolling out on shelves at major retailers. Consumers can find it in-store at Walmart, Target, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, and more, as well as online at Amazon and store.asmodee.com.
