Barbie is having her moment at this year’s Toy Fair New York, with several new collections in the works.
Mattel is celebrating the 25th anniversary of Barbie in The Nutcracker with a collection of dolls inspired by the animated special that started the brand’s animation legacy. Characters in the line include Clara, Daisy, the Land of Sweets Ballerinas and Horse, the Sugar Plum Fairies, and the Snow Fairies. The collection will launch at mass retailers alongside the new Barbie in the Nutcracker special, coming to Netflix this year, which features Barbie “Brooklyn” Rogers as the Sugarplum Princess and Barbie “Malibu” Rogers as Clara.

Two additional lines that will be shown at this year’s Toy Fair New York include Barbie Petal Pop and Barbie Roll & Reveal. The former features a scented doll tucked into a bouquet that can be plucked, while the latter has the doll and accessories encased in a ball for kids to roll for two unique unboxing experiences. The Barbie Petal Pop line is available now for $26.99, while the Barbie Roll & Reveal line will launch this fall.
