SYBO and Supercell launch the first-ever dual-game crossover between Subway Surfers and Brawl Stars. The four-week event, available now, introduces themed gameplay mechanics, unlockable rewards, and new competitive features in both mobile titles.
“A competitive game mode within Subway Surfers has been one of the most requested features from our community over the last 13 years,” says Celia Zimmermann, head of player experience at SYBO. “We knew there was no better time to introduce a competitive element to the game than during a crossover with Brawl Stars. We’re excited to bring this collaboration to life and incorporate elements from Brawl Stars’ beloved multiplayer-style gameplay into Subway Surfers for the very first time.”
Within Subway Surfers, players can run through a Brawl Stars-inspired world featuring desert and crystal mine elements while unlocking six themed characters. The update also debuts Subway Surfers’ first competitive multiplayer mode, Showdown, which allows players to race against others for points, rewards, and unique power-ups.
Meanwhile, Brawl Stars is hosting a Subway Surfers-themed season, including the game’s first racing mode, Subway Run. This 10-player race challenges Brawlers to cross checkpoints and finish first while using new Subway Surfers-inspired power-ups such as Super Sneakers, Brawler Magnet, Hoverboard Charge, and Jetpack. The collaboration follows SYBO’s previous crossovers this year with Crossy Road and 8 Ball Pool.
Players can join the event in Subway Surfers through Oct. 5 and in Brawl Stars through Oct. 1.
