McDonald’s Happy Meal toys have always been fun, but this summer, they’re fun-sized!
Starting July 1, families will unwrap their Happy Meals to find one of 21 Lil McDonald’s toys. These pocket-sized toys allow kids to take a little piece of the Golden Arches home, from a teeny register and mini fries to an itty-bitty Boo Bucket. Whether they’re running a tiny drive-thru in the living room or managing rush hour in the backyard, kids can dig into imagination with summer smiles on the side.
To kick off the collection, families can check out larger-than-life versions of the Lil McDonald’s toys at a limited-time event in Los Angeles. At the event, kids can explore toy-themed play zones, pose for pics with oversized props, and even dive into a ball pit inspired by chicken McNuggets. The experience will take over Santa Monica Place on July 19-20.
Can’t make it to Los Angeles? Don’t worry! By simply scanning the QR code on their Happy Meal box, kids will unlock an exclusive online game, Drive Thru Dash. In this game, players will choose a manager, race to take orders, and the fastest time wins. Families can also download a free digital placemat on happymeal.com, which transforms any boring table into an epic Lil McDonald’s play zone.
